Guallar’s Teruel delicacies are a true expression of fine gourmet craftsmanship. Proud of our origins, we use only prime cuts of PGI Teruel pork, PDO Bajo Aragón extra virgin olive oil, and raw milk from free-range grazing goats and sheep.

TASTING NOTES

ASPECTO

Vibrant orange-red, with pearlescent fat and oil tinted with paprika. Even, appetising slice.

AROMA

Sweet paprika takes centre stage, with notes of toasted bread, mild garlic, bay leaf, cinnamon and rounded spices.

TEXTURA

Tender, juicy and lightly unctuous. Melting fat that rounds out the bite.

SABOR

Spiced sweetness, paprika and cured pork. A warm, long and approachable finish, with umami and a toasted echo.

Ingredients: Sweet chorizo (pork lean meat and pork belly, paprika, Sherry wine, salt, corn starch, sugar (LACTOSE), spices, preservatives E-326 and E-262, vegetable fibre, natural flavourings, antioxidant E-301 and colouring E-120; stuffed in natural pork casing), extra virgin olive oil, bay leaf, black pepper and cinnamon.

Contains milk and milk derivatives, including LACTOSE. May contain traces of SULPHITES.

Storage

All our preserves are shelf-stable at room temperature and should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Once opened, any remaining ribs must always be kept fully submerged in the oil to preserve their organoleptic qualities and prevent deterioration. After opening, refrigeration is recommended. When stored correctly, the best-before date can be found on the back of the cardboard label.

Serving

Serving suggestion (best enjoyed warm): There are many ways to gently warm foods; however, Guallar’s recommendation to preserve the product’s organoleptic qualities is to heat it in a bain-marie. In a medium saucepan, place the jar and cover with water up to 3/4 of its height. Heat until it reaches a gentle simmer. Keep simmering for around 4 minutes. Remove the jar very carefully to avoid burns, and enjoy.
